Kenneth Irwin

Kenneth Irwin, age 74, of Painesville passed away peacefully, May 28, 2015. Ken was born September 6, 1940 in Painesville, Ohio; he was the son of Marjorie (nee Chuka) and Robert Irwin. He married Linda Gawlikowski on October 19, 1978. Ken was a proud US Army Veteran; He retired from Neff Perkins after 42 years of service. Ken was a member of Cornerstone Friends Church. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and volunteering for the Red Cross and at the Food Room. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda; children, Kathleen (James Sr.) Welch of Madison, Bridgete Parasca of Painesville, David (Michele) Gawlikowski of Roaming Shores, Melissa (fiancée, Victor Rogers) Nelson of Windsor; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and brother, Donald (Paula) Irwin. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 6:00 PM at Cornerstone Friends Church, 2300 N. Hubbard Road, Madison, OH 44057. Rev. Mark Winner will be officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 until the time of service. Burial will take place on Thursday, June 4th at 11 am at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
