Kenneth D. Othola

Kenneth D. Ohtola, Age 64, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township. Born December 30, 1946, in Ravenna, to Irene (Urbanski) & Toivo Ohtola, he married Patricia Wampler on July 18, 1969 Employed at Stevens Management Company for 20 years and Owner of B&K Cycles. Previously employed at Chardon Rubber and TRW. Ken loved his motorcycles, model trains, fishing, worldwide rock and T-shirt collections. He was a longtime member of New Day Christian Church, where he sang in the choir, and a Vietnam War veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by Wife, Patricia Ohtola of Madison; Daughters, Tamela (Mark) Aman of Enid, OK, April (Gene) Stilley of Mulvane, KS, Crystal (John) Filidoro of Madison; 10 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; Mother, Irene Gotthard of Chardon; Sisters, Marcia Vaughn, Alicia Gotthard, Verl Johnson, Brenda Jenkins; Brothers, Richard & Michael Gotthard; 4 Foster Children; Numerous Nieces, Nephews and relatives; Known as ?Grandpa Kenny? to many He was preceded in death by his father A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 3, 2011 with visitation one hour prior at New Day Christian Church, 6385 North Ridge Road, Madison, Ohio with Pastor Michael Rice officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Day Christian Church, 6385 North Ridge Road, Madison, OH 44057.
