Keith Frederick Berkebile

Keith Frederick Berkebile, 62, passed away peacefully at his home in Madison, Ohio, on July 18, 2025.
Born in Puerto Rico, Keith spent much of his life in Maryland before settling in Ohio. He was the eldest child of the late Frederick and Joyce Berkebile and a proud veteran of the United States Navy, where he served his country with honor and dedication.

Keith had a lifelong passion for trains and could often be found enjoying model railroads or visiting railways. He was an enthusiastic Baltimore Ravens fan which sparked many friendships and happy memories over the years.

He is survived by his son, Keigan Berkebile; his sister, Crystal Sullivan; and his brother, David (Jeni) Berkebile. He is lovingly remembered by his devoted partner, Karen Sackett, of the last eight years, who cared for Keith in the final chapter of his life with unwavering love and support. He leaves behind cherished nephews, a niece and many cousins.

Keith’s warmth, sense of humor, and deep loyalty to those he loved will be remembered always.
