April 7, 1942 ~ November 7, 2025

Resided in: Geneva, Ohio

It is with a celebration of life that we announce the passing of Karen Emily Succi, who left this world peacefully on November 7, 2025. Born on April 7, 1942, in Ashtabula, Ohio, Karen lived a fulfilling life dedicated to family.

Karen is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, John Succi, and her daughter, Gwendolyn (Ken) Ankrom. She was a proud grandmother to Matthew (Marissa) Ankrom, Mary (Nick) Kurzhals, Marcus Ankrom, and Michael (Addie) Ankrom, and a doting great-grandmother to Brody Ankrom, Elizabeth Ankrom, and Olivia Chadwick. Karen is also survived by her sister, Darlene Erb, and her in-laws, James and Franny Succi.

Karen was an avid Cleveland Indians fan, and she loved to watch nature unfold as the deer passed by, and birds frolic in her bird feeder. She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed cooking and preparing family dinners on Sundays.

The family encourages everyone to share their fondest memories and stories of Karen during this time, as we come together not just to mourn her passing but to celebrate her legacy of kindness, laughter, and love.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Karen’s name to the Ashtabula County APL, or maybe, even setting up a bird feeder at home, like Karen, to enjoy nature.

Karen’s warmth and joy will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Karen was preceded in death by her in-laws, Angelo and Mary Succi; her parents and brother.

The family is gathering privately, per Karen’s wishes, to celebrate her life.

Behm Family Funeral Home is assisting Karen’s family. Online obituary and condolences may be found at www.behmfuneral.com
