June Hayward Snodgrass

June Hayward Snodgrass, age 83, passed away on May 6, 2020. She was born September 20, 1936 to Mabel (Ferguson) and Arthur Hayward in Painesville.
A 1954 graduate from Harvey High School, June was previously employed at Morley Library in Painesville and as a Deputy Clerk under Judge Lavrich at the Geauga County Probate & Juvenile Court. June treasured her community, and she was eager to help wherever she could. She was a judge for the Geauga County Board of Election, den mother for the Thompson Cub Scouts, lifetime member of Angeline Rebecca Lodge in Thompson, and past president of the Thompson Garden Club. Furthermore, she volunteered for Project Hope in Painesville, with the Lake County Crisis Hot Line, and at Ledgemont Schools serving both the Mother’s Club and Booster’s club.
June is survived by her sons, Mark Snodgrass, Michael (Alma) Snodgrass, Matthew Snodgrass; grandchildren, Nicholas Snodgrass, Morgan Snodgrass, Casey Snodgrass; great-grandchildren, Ivory, Tiffany; her life partner, Eugene Snodgrass; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jacob Snodgrass; brother, Arthur Hayward; and sisters, Nancy Rosetti, Evelyn Hayward and Phyllis Amos.
