Judith Darlene Rainery

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Darlene Rainery, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who left this world peacefully on November 6, 2025, at the age of 81. Judith was born on July 16, 1944, in Geneva, Ohio, and spent her life as a servant of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, nurturing her family and creating a warm and loving home in Painesville, Ohio. Judith gave her children the depth and understanding of the Love for Our Lord, which sustains them now.

Judith was a dedicated homemaker who devoted her life to raising her four children: James Rainery, Pamela Barr, Karen (Robert) Henry, and Deborah Krause. Her love extended to her cherished grandchildren: Zachariah (Jennifer), Miriah (Troy), Brett (Erin), Allen (Sydnie), Kyle (Alycia), Briggs (Molly), and Patrick (Ania), as well as her 12 great-grandchildren. Judith’s nurturing spirit and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Judith was preceded in death by: her husband of 55 years, Ronald, her parents, Adabelle Peterson Forrest Wilhoit, and brother, James Alkula.

A celebration of Judith’s life will take place on November 12, 2025, 11am, at Lake Church of Christ, 8435 Auburn Road, Chardon Ohio 44024.Visitation will be prior to service at the Lake Church of Christ, starting at 10:00 AM. Final resting place will be with her husband at Williams Cemetery in Leroy.
