John E. Gregus, 82, Harpersfield Twp., Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008 Lake West Hospital in Willoughby, OH. He was born January 1, 1926 in Harpersfield Twp. to Katie (Skladan) & John Gregus and was formerly a Lineman at C.E.I. retiring in 1988. John served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Was a 32nd Degree Mason and belonged to the Tri-Andria Lodge #780. He was also a flight instructor, corporate pilot and driver for Dillen Industries in Middlefield. He is survived by 2 Daughters, Becky (Rusty) D?Angelo of Austinburg Twp. and Pam (Allen) Virant of Geneva; Son, Dennis (Darlene) Sharpe of Geneva; Daughter-in-Law Lorraine March of Madison; 14 Grandchildren, Heather, Michael, Jessica, Joseph, Joshua, Susan, Samantha, Jacqueline, Andrea, Tony, Christina, Heather, Ian, and Abby; 11 Great Grandchildren; Nephews, Doug, Alvin and Thomas Stowe. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Son, Merle March; Brother, Paul Gregus; Sisters, Katherine Gregus and Anne Stowe; Nephew, Ted Stowe. Friends will be received 2-4:00 p.m. & 7-9:00 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2008, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. A Masonic Service will be held at 8:45 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 14, 2008, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva. Rev. Shirley Stoops-Frantz of South Harpersfield United Methodist Church will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Harpersfield Cemetery in Harpersfield Twp.
