John Bjornholm Jr

John Everett Bjornholm Jr, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026 at the age of 82.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Kay and their cherished family; JP (Anna) Bjornholm and Doug (Anne) Bjornholm; grandsons, Logan, Johnny, and Oliver; brother, Jim (Chris); sister, Dianne (Bob); nieces, Taylor and Krissy (Jason); nephew, Andrew. He was incredibly proud of his family and loved capturing every moment with his camera.

A lifelong Air Force veteran and adventurer, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life: playing golf, visiting the Outer Banks, and attending Mid-Ohio racing events. He also treasured his 30th anniversary trip to the top of Michigan aboard the tall ship Manitou.

Known for his bravery and humor, he shared his love for photography with everyone around him. His family will forever remember his laughter, his stories, and the countless photographs that now serve as precious memories.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and family pride that will never be forgotten.
