Joan Ruth (nee Lenz) Hollar

Joan Ruth (nee Lenz) Hollar, age 79, of Madison passed away December 11, 2015 at Governor's Pointe Assisted Living in Mentor. She was born May 1, 1936 in Cleveland the daughter of Edna L. (nee DuBois) and Frank T. Lenz. Joan married Robert S. Hollar on February 14, 1964 in Cleveland. She loved to spend time with her family and friendsdining out together was a favorite past time. She enjoyed the YMCA, sewing, knitting, crocheting and gardening. Joan is survived by her daughters, Gail C. Jones, Diane A. Burt; son, Robert S. Hollar II; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Lenz; sister, Kathleen (Jack) Entis and brother-in-law, Jack Hewitt. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Bob; grandson, Jacob Stewart; her parents and sister, Nancy J. Hewitt. Friends may call 2 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH. A Service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. Final Resting Place will be North Madison Cemetery.
