Jewel L. Parsons

Jewel L. Parsons, age 72 of Geneva passed away February 1, 2015 at Rae Ann. She was born September 17, 1942 in Corley, WV the daughter of Sara Ruth (King) & Norval Roby. She married Theodore Parsons in Geneva on May 27, 1995. Jewel was a 1960 Graduate of Braxton County High School and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by daughters: Brenda (Duane) Tingley ofMadison, Ruthie (John) Turkenburg of Madison, Renee Harper of Sebring, OH; son, Martin (Delores) Parsons of Madison; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Olen Roby of Geneva. Jewel was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore; her parents; sisters, Elda Jordan, Geraldine Snyder, Goldy Bankhead; brothers, Elmer and Vernon Roby. Friends will be received from 2:00 to 4:00pm on Friday, February 6, 2015 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME 26 River Street in Madison. A Funeral Service will be held 4:00pm at the Funeral Home.
