Jean Somnitz

Jean Somnitz, Age 95, Vero Beach, Florida and a former resident of Madison, Ohio, passed away Friday, September 5, 2008 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, FL. Born June 21, 1913 in St. Louis, Missouri and lived in Vero Beach since 1993 coming from Ft. Pierce, FL. She was a homemaker. She was an avid shuffleboard player where she won many trophies. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by Daughter Carole Bliss of Vero Beach, FL; Grandchildren, Diane Ingalls of Westlake Village, CA anad John Bliss of Ocala, FL; Sister, Mary Bosich of Columbus, Ohio; Many Nieces and Nephews She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Somnitz and 5 siblings. Graveside Service will be held at North Madison Cemetery, on Hubbard Road in Madison on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, OHIO 44057.
