Janice "Nana" Clingerman
Janice Clingerman “Nana”, age 90 of Madison passed away January 11, 2026 at home with her family. She was born on April 10, 1935 in Salem, MA the daughter of Aubrey and Anna Bell (Tower) Fitzgerald, she was the youngest of 8 children.
For many years Janice enjoyed her life in Crossville, TN. Locally, she was an active member of the American Legion Post 336 in Painesville and the First Baptist Church of Perry. She enjoyed her time spent at the Fairport Senior Center where she loved to play Bingo. She enjoyed crocheting and donating the mittens and baby blankets to local charities.
She is survived by her sons, James “Smitty” (Kelly Thayer) Smith and John (Kim) Winters; step daughter, Debbie (Charles) Miller; daughter in law, Linda Reynolds; grandchildren, Danielle and Jamie Smith, Dan, Ryder, Caleb and Logan Winters, Tina, Rebekah, Kylie, Christopher and Nate; great grandchildren, Maddie, Zoey and several other great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Donald Clingerman; her parents; and her son Frank Reynolds.
