James Wellington Estes, age 73, of Deer Park, TX passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013. A lifelong Cleveland area resident James moved to Texas in 2007. Born on July 13, 1939 in Cleveland he was the son of Bertha (Linek) and Harold Estes. James was the youngest First Class Engineer for the City of Cleveland and had certifications in Private, Commercial Twin Engine, and as a Private Instructor he taught at the Bell Road Airport in Geauga County. With a passion for music James was a talented pianist and he enjoyed the opportunity to tune a piano. He is survived by his daughter, Tamarie Estes Carmack of Madison; grandson, John Michael Carmack of Vermilion; and granddaughter Lt. Sarah Christine Carmack currently serving at Pensacola Naval Air Station. He was preceded in death by his parents Friends will be received from 2:00 to 5:00pm on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, February 18th at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Waterford Cemetery in Waterford, PA The family suggests contributions be made in his name to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
