James "Jay" Marino

James "Jay" Gary Marino, Age 71, of Perry, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 Madison Health Care in Madison. Born March 18, 1941 in Cleveland, to Phyllis (Thomas) and Anthony Marino, he married Karen Soblesky on December 1, 1962 in Cleveland Heights. Jay liked talking to friends and strangers alike and always had a funny story to tell. He loved his family, horse farm, and supervising home cooked meals. Always generously inviting anyone around to come and eat, he opened his home to many over the years. He will be missed and has been missed through a devastating illness. He is survived by: Wife of 50 years: Karen Marino of Perry Daughter:Heather (Daryn Langley) Marino of Newell WVA Sons:Jim (Melissa) Marino of Madison David (Amanda) Marino of Perry Grandchildren:Chelsea, Michael, Daniel and Chloe Marino, Amber Nichols and Christopher Brooker Sister:Mary Jane (Timothy) Beres of Lyndhurst Brothers:Anthony Marino of Garrettsville Joel Marino Many Nieces and Nephews He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Thursday December 6, 2012 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Andrew Wilson officiating. Place of burial will be at South Ridge Cemetery, Perry Township.
