James H. Calkins, Age 71, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011 Hospice Of The Western Reserve Cleveland in Cleveland, OH. Born March 23, 1940 in Montgomery, Pennsylvania to Onita (Resser) & Howard Calkins, he married Linda Secrest in Painesville, Ohio on August 17, 1964 He was a General Laborer at Ohio Dept. of Transportation. James served in the Ohio National Guard He is survived by daughters, Cora (Brian) Hall of Madison, Lynne (Mike) Brown of Madison, Peggy Vliek; Son, Rob Calkins; Grandchildren, Megan, Miranda, Dylan, Robbie, Justin, Brandon, Heidi Great-Grandson, Spencer; Sister, Retta Henry. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Linda, September 19, 2009; his Parents; Sister, Harriet & Brother, Don Friends will be received 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2011, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, September 30, 2011, at Perry Cemetery, 3840 Middle Ridge Road, Perry.
