  1. Carla and family, I pray for comfort and strength in the days and weeks ahead. May your many wonderful memories bring you peace.

  2. Laura and Ashley, I am sorry for your loss. I hope the memories and love carry you through this time.

  3. Helene, for these past several years, you made me feel immeasurably valued. And I’ll bet you did that for everyone else as well. Remember what I asked you to do, to ask God to give you permission to stay in touch. Hugs, and eternal affection. Hope to see you again.

  4. Such a lovely lady! Her daughter Lisa was a good friend of my sister Julie (Cornell) Nicka in high school. At last they will be reunited. Rest in heaven Helene, you will be missed!

  5. I had the pleasure of knowing Helene for years. She was one of my favorite patients. It broke my heart the day she came to our office to let us know she was sick and wasn’t sure when we’d see her again. At Christmas she would just stop by and bring us ladies cookies. They were amazing. I’m definitely going to miss her.

  6. Sympathy to family and friends. May your memories of time spent with this remarkable, lovely person bring you comfort and peace.
We always had the connection from our days at Cork school.

  7. Carl,

  13. So sorry to hear of Helene’s passing. She was so helpful to me during my years at Perry. I’m sure she will be missed by all her family and friends.

  14. I have so many incredible memories of this most beautiful lady. She was a mother to me when my mother passed away and her daughter’s graciously shared her with me. I remember one day when I said to her I love you. And she said I love you too, honey. You are so easy to love. I don’t know if I was to be honest, but I know that she graciously and lovingly cared for me as if I was her own. A few years ago I was in town because I live so many miles away and I made the drive in the middle of winter to the area. I had to stop in and see “ my other mom and dad”. They both gathered around that beautiful kitchen were so much love was poured in to every person that crossed their path. We talked about my travels. We talked about God in my life, but mostly we just connected again with joy and love and gratitude. I have been so abundantly blessed by this beautiful woman and family. I know the heavens open in a big way and my moms are dancing together now. You will be missed 💔🙏🏻 but I will see you again.

  15. We will miss Aunt Helene and all her beauty inside and out along with all the loving ways about her. She will be in our hearts forever. Rest in peace 🙏

  16. Helene was wonderful to work with during my 25 years at the Perry Plant but more than that she was just a wonderful person my sincere condolences to Carl and family.

  17. To the entire family, my deepest sympathies.
I’ll always remember Mrs. Schubert for her encouraging words, infectious joy, love, generosity, and her trademark laugh that would lift any spirit in her presence.
So grateful to have been friends and neighbors for so many years. God bless.
