Harry W. Gilbert, Age 76, of Austinburg, Ohio, formerly of Pearland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011 Austinburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Austinburg, Ohio. Born March 31, 1935 in Carlton, Virginia to Armina (Parsons) & Paul Gilbert Director of Shipping & Receiving at Ohio Rubber in Willoughby, OH. Harry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and making cornbread. He is survived by Sons, William Gilbert of Mentor, OH, Lee Gilbert of Geneva, OH & David Gilbert of Geneva, OH; 4 Grandchildren; 3 Brothers; 3 Sisters. He was preceded in death by Parents; 3 Brothers & 1 Sister Full Military Honors will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio, on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 10:30 am. A Memorial Service will be at 3:00 pm, also on Friday, September 30, 2011, at Saybrook United Methodist Church, 7900 South Depot Road, Saybrook, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 East 185th Street, Cleveland, Ohio, 44119.
