Gloria Theresa Lorenz

Gloria Theresa Lorenz, age 89 of Madison, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016 at her home. Born March 13, 1927 in Painesdale, MI she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria Lozano. She married Russell Lorenz on March 8, 1945 in Hancock, MI. Gloria moved to the Madison area in 1956 and worked as the Cafeteria Manager for the Madison Local School District. She then went on to work as the Food Service Manager at the NEO Hospital as well as several local nursing homes. She was also a homemaker and loved her children dearly. She is survived by her daughter: Rose Searcy of Monroe, LA; her son: Jim (Chris) Lorenz of Madison; grandchildren: Cory Lorenz, Gloria (Chris) McIntosh, Harley (Heather) Corder, Tim (Ann Marie) Carley, Scott (Wendy) Carley, and Tiffany (Jeremy) Randazza; great grandchildren: Gavin, Elle, Alex, Remy, Gianna, Phillip, Joey, and Gabby. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Russell Lorenz; daughters: Barb Carley and Prisilla Lorenz Friends will be received from 10 to 12pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes, 26 River Street in Madison. Funeral Service for Gloria will follow at 12pm at the funeral home. Committal Service will follow at Madison Memorial Cemetery on Arcola Road in Madison.
