Hartin, Jr. Age 85 Resident of Geneva, Ohio Passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010 University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, OHIO Born July 5, 1924 in Geneva, Ohio to Bertha (Moss) & George William Hartin, Sr. Married Ruth Lange in Geneva, Ohio on June 30, 1946 Occupation: Machinist at Reliance Electric. Memberships and Affiliations: Served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. in World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of Geneva Legion Post #124 and Zion Lutheran Church in Ashtabula. George and Ruth traveled to all 50 states. He enjoyed boating, camping, riding his motorcycle, woodworking and listening to Big Band music. He is survived by Wife of 63 years, Ruth Hartin of Geneva Daughter Jean (Charles) Wright of Sherrodsville, OH Son John (Marie) Hartin of White Rock, NM Grandson Joshua Wright He was preceded in death by Granddaughter, Christina Wright; Parents, Bertha (Moss) & George W. Hartin, Sr.; and Sister, Ethel Hartin Memorial Service will be 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Zion Lutheran Church, 2310 West 9th Street, Ashtabula, with the Rev. Donald Coulter of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
