Gene Beall

March 4, 1940 ~ June 15, 2015
Gene Beall, age 75 of Cranberry Township, PA and formerly of Geneva, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015. He was born on March 4,1940 the son of Marshall V. and Grace (Kinnaman) Beall.
Gene attended Madison High School and was a member of the Blue Streaks football team. After high school he spent many years perfecting the mechanical trades, including plumbing and hydronics. He was self employed from 1984 to 1998 and was a member of Local 55. Besides being a perfectionist, he enjoyed many years of fishing from Gogama, Ontario to Lake Erie, where he and Sarah spent many days reeling in Walleye. Gene and Sarah enjoyed traveling. They went to St. Kits multiple times, and many other Caribbean adventures. They were also members of the First Baptist Church in Interlachen, Florida. They attended regularly and were very active members. One of Gene's favorite Church functions was the men's breakfast which was held every month. He was also a huge NASCAR fan and enjoyed following Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman while attending many of the country's biggest race events. Gene was a member of the Geneva Masonic Lodge #334 where he served twice as Master of Lodge "WB". Two of his greatest enjoyments were participating in the reconsecration of the Lodge as well as raising his son. Some of his favorite past times were gardening as well as shopping at Walmart and Home Depot.
Gene is survived by his daughter, Theresa (Andrews) Beall with 2 children of Madison and son, Robert A. (Carol) Beall with 8 children, Mark(Kelly)Cavanaugh of North Carolina, Jennifer Cavanaugh of Zelienople, Pa Colleen(Gabriel) Talpa of Tampa, Florida, Stephen(Amanda) Britton of Ashtabula, Ohio, Brian Beall of Cranberry Twp, Pa, J.P. Beall graduate of Central Catholic High School of Cranberry Twp., PA, Megan Beall of Cranberry Twp., Pa, Alex Beall of Cranberry Twp., Pa and 10 great-grandchildren, Caylee, Alyssa, Nicholas, Maureen, Anthony, Audrey, Avery, Benjamin, Zachery, and Molly. He has 3 Brother-in-laws, William, Kenneth, and Arne. Sister-in-law, Jeannette and many nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah J. Beall in 2012 and nephew, Dana in 2015. A celebration of Gene's life with Masonic Services will take place at 1:00pm on Monday, June 22, 2015 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home with a reception to follow. A private family burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
