Served in the Vietnam War and retired from the U.S. Air Force after 28 years of service. Member of the Eliot Masonic Lodge, A.F. & A.M. in Mass. Past Worthy Patron of the Nottingham Chapter #269, Order of the Eastern Star in Euclid, OH. Instructor at Troy State University, Lake Erie College, and Lakeland Community College. He loved his family, church, cooking, computers and fly-fishing.

Children, Tod (Lisa) Vaughn of Denver, CO and
Laura (Michael) Biggs of Mentor, OH
Grandson, David Lyle
Brothers, Otis (Jean) Vaughn of Mesa, AZ
Robert (Barbara) Vaughn of Coronado, CA and
Philip (Irene) Vaughn of Grapevine, TX
Sister-in-law, Elizabeth Vaughn of Placida, FL.
Many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ruey Charles and Edward Vaughn; sisters, Laura Eleanor, Mary Griffin, and Ruth Bosland.
Friends will be received 3-6:30 PM on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at St. Anne?s Anglican Church, 5236 Middle Ridge Rd, Madison, OH 44057 where a memorial service will begin at 7:00 PM.
Final Resting Place will be at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
