Francis Dale Jarvis

Francis Dale Jarvis, age 93, of Painesville, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023 at Tri Point Medical Center. He was born February 18, 1930 in Grantsville, WV, to Henry and Effie (Shafer) Jarvis. He married Carolyn F. King on October 23, 1954. Francis served in the U.S. Marines from 1950 to 1953 and was stationed in North Carolina. During his service he traveled to Puerto Rico, Korea and Japan. He worked for The Rayon for many years, then later worked for Dyson. Later he would retire as a subcontractor. He is survived by his sons, Eugene (Nancy) Jarvis, Donald Jarvis; sisters, Birdie and Murrlene. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Jarvis; his parents and brothers, Denver, Vance, Jennings, Eugene, Lester; sister, Eulia. Private family services will be observed.
