Frances Rauth

Frances D. Rauth, age 97, of Thompson, Ohio, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Briar Hill Health Care. She was born September 23, 1918 in Kenmore, Ohio the daughter of Nellie (Hagelbarger) and Charles F. Barnes. Frances married Richard Arthur Rauth in East Cleveland on May 10, 1947. Frances was a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Thompson United Methodist Church and the Thompson Grange. She is survived by step-sons, Richard Rauth and Robert (Patricia) Rauth; 5 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; brother, Ralph Barnes; sisters, Sara Barnes, Joan Yatsko, Beatrice Baumann; and daughter-in-law Carol Rauth. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Thompson United Methodist Church, 6758 Madison Rd., Thompson, 44086, with Rev. Jonathan Cooney, officiating. Calling hours will be held at the church on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of services at noon. Final Resting Place is Maple Grove Cemetery in Thompson.
