Elenor Babic

Elenor Babic, age 88 of Madison, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at her home. Born October 18, 1926 in Harpersfield she was the daughter of Roy and Victoria (Woitkowska) Valitzky. She married Stanley Babic in 1952. Elenor retired as a secretary from the Lake County Commissioner's Garage where she worked for over 13 years. She loved spending time with her friends and was involved as a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where she attended daily mass and was a member of the Red Hat / Purple Dress Society. She is survived by several nieces and nephews who love her dearly. Elenor was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Stanley; her parents; sisters: Dorothy Babic, Eva Perry Hendrix, Alice Gruber and Ann Crist; brothers: Frank, Alex, and Walter Valitzky Friends will be received from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 26th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2846 Hubbard Road in Madison. Final resting place will be with her husband at North Madison Cemetery
