Edward W. Tagg

Edward W. Tagg, age 86 of Leroy, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026 at Mentor Hills Nursing Home. He was born May 20, 1939 in Little Washington, PA to Howard C. and Grace E (Wilson) Tagg.

Edward was a foundry worker for most of his life. He loved hockey and football and old time country music. He had fond memories of working on a turkey farm with his brother as a child.

He leaves behind a sister in law, Virginia Tagg; niece, Sherri Burgett; nephew, Robert Tagg and best friend Tony Ujcic. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Raymond.

Friends will be received from 5-7 pm on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Graveside service will be on Friday, January 30th at 10 am at Maple Grove Cemetery in Thompson with a procession from the funeral home prior to the burial.
