Edward M. Koryta, Jr., Age 86, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010 Ashtabula County Medical Center. Born July 26, 1924 in Garfield Heights to Antoinette (Kubec) & Edward M Koryta, Sr., he married Sophia Carangelo. He formerly was a driver for Continental Bakery. Was a Coast Guard veteran. Was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Cleveland. He enjoyed playing pool and bocce? at the Brooklyn Senior Center. He is survived by Wife, Sophia Koryta of Ashtabula; Daughters, Terese (John) Van Hoy of Union Grove, NC & Susan Welly of Tarpon Springs, FL; 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy Memorial Mass will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main Street, Geneva, Ohio.
