Doris English Cook

Doris English Cook. We were blessed to call her mother. Many were blessed to call her friend. Doris was born in Ashtabula, Ohio and Graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1943. Doris stopped dancing May 1, 2018 at the age of 92. She dances on in a new body with angels looking on. Doriss last earthly address was in Wilmington, North Carolina, she passed surrounded by family. She is survived by her children; Christine Cook Marr (Bill), Joseph Cook (Jacque), Carrie Cook Artman (Jim), Grant Cook, Carole Cook Ellzey (Glenn) and many grandchildren leaving behind her creative touch on generations to come. She was preceded in death by parents Grant H. English, Gertrude Whitney English, husband Phillip E Cook ll, and son Phillip E Cook III. A celebration of her life will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River St. in Madison, Ohio. Spent so much time at the Cook home growing up….I believe Mrs Cook thought I was one of her own !!!! Many memories that bring a smile to me. May the Lord wrap His arms around her family as they are going through this time and bring them peace and comfort. Love to all.
