Donald "Duke" Miller

Donald "Duke" Miller, age 78, of Perry passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Tri Point Medical Center in Concord Township. He was born April 17, 1936 in Swissville, PA to Margaret (nee Lilliock) and Jacob F. Miller. Donald was a skilled machinist, having retired from Worthington Precision Metals of Mentor in 2005. He enjoyed sports & his favorite player was Stan Musual. He loved music, reading and tinkering with cars, but most of all, spending time with his family. He is survived by his son, Joel (Ann) Miller of Chicago; daughters, Michelle (John) Kodrich of Mentor, Diane Houska of Ravenna; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joanne Vandervort of Perry, Margaret (John) Yarcusko of Madison, Phyllis (Bud Largent) Roth of Madison and several nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by his parents and ex-wife, Sharen Dufopulos. Private family services will be held. Final resting place will be Perry Cemetery The family would like to thank Kindred Lake Medical Painesville staff and Tri Point nurses for Duke's care.
