David M. Soden, age 75 of Madison, passed away May 20, 2016 at Hillcrest Hospital. He was born December 28, 1940 in Houston, TX, the son of the late Theodore and Doris (Kaehler) Soden. David was a very loving, caring and hard working man who always took care of his friends on Pine Court, often mowing yards or taking out the garbage cans. He worked as an over the road truck driver for many years and he loved animals. He is survived by his loving wife: Susan; son: Richard (Barb) Soden of Madison; step-son: Jonathan; grandchildren: Richard and David Soden; step-grandchildren: Ian (Michele) Goodhart, Joshua (Kori) Goodhart, and Kaitlyn Goodhart; great-grandchildren: Dylan, Aiden, Mason, Maddox, and James; step great-grandchildren: Dawson and Aiden. He was preceded in death by his beloved first wife: Ruby and his parents Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057. There will be a funeral service following the visitation at 7:00pm Final Resting Place will be Perry Cemetery. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Hillcrest Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic Hospice staff for the compassion and wonderful care of their beloved husband, father, and grandfather.   1. I am sorry to learn about Dave\'s passing. My brother, Bob, and I were good friends with Dave growing up in Saybrook back in the 50\'s. They were good times.

  2. One heck of a man, they sure don't make them like Dave anymore. He will be missed dearly by many.Loved and missed by cousin Jeff Kent and family.
