Daniel Rusnak, age 61, of Madison, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023. He was born October  25, 1961 in Painesville, the son of John and Marie (Shuster) Rusnak. He married his beloved wife, Cheryl, on February 21, 1987 in Fairport. Dan worked as an operator for Midwest Materials in Perry for 41 years. He enjoyed boating and fishing. Dan just loved to be on the Lake and dreamed of someday becoming a Charter Captain. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Guardians and Pittsburgh Steelers. Daniel is survived by his wife, Cheryl; children, Erika (Jason) Petrowski, Michelle (Kevin) Kirby and Danny Rusnak; grandchildren, Destiny, Victoria, Gavin, Hailee and Cameryn; great-granddaughter, Evangeline; mother, Marie Rusnak; brother, John (Linda) Rusnak; sisters, Diane (Steve) Campbell and Kathy Cable. He was preceded in death by his father John Rusnak. Friends will be received 10 am to 12 noon, Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison with a Service immediately following at 12 noon at the funeral home.     Terry and I are so sorry for your loss. Danny was my cousin and Terry and I also went to school with him. I have many fond memories of Danny growing up. Our families went to Canada together on vacation a few times and Danny was always such a sweet kid. May God comfort each of you.
