So very sorry to hear about the loss of a dear friend and another one of the original “Concord Boys” as well as a true American Patriot. We raised a lot of hell together in our younger days but you couldn't ask for a better friend when you needed him. My condolences to Linda and all of his family. Rest in Peace brother and we'll take it from here!! Sandy Spangler
Great memories. We were double cousins. Our mothers were sisters and our fathers were brothers. We were close in late elementary and early jr. high. Lots of fun… riding bikes, playing in the creek, watching our parents and uncles and aunts drink too much at parties… usually at his house because they had a “rec” room in the basement. Fun at the time… in hindsight… not so much. This old world will miss you, Cous… enjoy the new one. -Lee Walker

I have so many fond memories of my lifelong and dear friend Bean. I'll never forget so many experiences Bean and I shared. I wonder if anyone knows that I gave Dan his nickname. It originated from us laughing about Wiley Coyote of cartoon fame and how his roadrunner research included “icus” on words to make it sound scientific. We ended up with Beanicus Danicus somehow. Also “ole beaten down Dan Walker”. In the end we settled on Bean and he called me Porgie or Porge. Man, Bean and I had some adventures together. Could have got in trouble I suppose, but we didn't. Bean was best man at my wedding to Sherrie in 1973. We will celebrate 47 years together this October. Bean was a wonderful friend and although we weren't in touch very much over the last year or so, I was so, so sad to hear of his passing. Rest in peace my Brother. George “Porgie” Pettyjohn
