Clayton C. Curtis, Age 93, Resident of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away Monday, September 26, 2011 Austinburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Austinburg, Ohio.
Born June 29, 1918 in Cransville, Pennsylvania to Neva (Bryman) & Clayton L. Curtis, he married Betty Prosser in Covington, KY on June 15, 1940.
He was a foundry worker and retired from CEI
He was a Member of Saybrook Methodist Church and a Graduate of Girard Union High School in Pennsylvania. He loved life, family, & weeding his gardens. He enjoyed his monthly lunch club at the Crow?s Nest with the CEI Retirees. He also loved his countryside rides, watching the Indians and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren..
He is survived by Son, Gordon (Esther) Curtis of Geneva, OH; Daughters, Jodee Wittman of Loveland, CO, Autumn (Dave) Irons of Austinburg, OH, Candy Curtis of N. Las Vegas, NV; Daughter-in-Law, Jackie Curtis of Saybrook; 13 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Betty in 2007; Son, Clayton Curtis JR.; Daughter, Kathy Griffith; His Parents; Brother, Joe Curtis; Sisters, Opal, Bonnie, & Ellenor
No visitation or services will be observed.
Final Resting Place will be at Cransville, Pennsylvania
