Charles "Chuck" Richards

Charles "Chuck" Richards, age 72 resident of Painesville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing And Rehab in Madison, Ohio. He was born February 15, 1940 in New York to Mary (Reiner) & Phillip Charles Richards. Chuck served in the US Navy stationed in Hawaii. He married Judy (McElhaney), his childhood sweetheart on November 28, 1959 and worked as a Painesville City Police Office before he began his career at Lincoln Electric where he retired in the early 2000's. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Painesville. Chuck enjoyed traveling with his wife and their trips to Seneca and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by; Daughters: Tammy (Bill) Shreves of Madison Cindy (Andrew) Zitney of Columbus, OH Jodi (Bruce) Holcomb of Columbus, OH Grandchildren: Kayla & Katie Jo Shreves Andi Rae and Emily Zitney Ellen, Brett & Addison Holcomb He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy and his parents. Friends will be received 1-3 PM, Friday, December 28, 2012 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM.
