Carol Ann Zmecek

Carol Ann Zmecek, age 77 of Madison, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at the David Simpson Hospice House. Born April 4, 1937 in Perrysville, Missouri. Carol was the daughter of George and Nova (Allen) Jones and she married Thomas Zmecek on November 19, 1966 in Jefferson. Carol was an avid collector and enjoyed antiquing, crafts and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and friends and most of all she cherished that time spent with her grandchildren She is survived by her husband Tom; children: Guy (Pat) Williams of Florida, Lon (Kim) Williams, Lynn (Joe) Jackson, Lori (Paul) Guzzi all of Painesville Township, and Missy (Brian) Sines of West Virginia; grandchildren: Katie, Michael, Candice (Tony), Joseph, Joshua, Rakayla, Sheila (Joe), Shannon, Christina, and Sara; 8 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, sister-in-law Mary Lette and brother-in-law Tim Zmecek along with several nieces, nephews and extended family. Carol was preceeded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and a brother, as well as her grandchildren Faith and Andrew. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Friday, November 21, 2014 at the funeral home. Carol's family suggests contributions be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110
