Bonnie Smith

Bonnie Smith, age 79, of Madison, passed away Thursday, October 4, at Lake West Hospital. She was born November 8, 1927 in Hacker Valley, West Virginia, to Mary (Claypool) and Homer Sears. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Madison where she assisted her husband in his ministry and taught pre-school. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Rev. Bernie Smith; her children Ken (Sandy) Smith of Madison, Ron (Maureen) Smith of Madison, and Sharon (Al) Hoffacker of Geneva; grandchildren Carol, Scott, Sonia, Marc and Scott; twelve great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; sisters Pauline Pasco of Madison and Geraldine Sironen of Madison. She was preceded in death by her sisters Nellie Barbe, Genevieve Shaughnessy and Joanne Wheeler, and her parents. Friends will be received from 2?4 and 6?8, Sunday, October 7, at the Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. A funeral Service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, October 8, at Bible Baptist Church, 2819 West Chapel Road, Madison, Ohio. Rev. Bob Ladygo will be officiating.
