Bill Mull passed away peacefully on September 26, 2016 with his devoted wife Dianne present. Bill was born September 25, 1939 in New York City, New York. Beloved husband of Dianne (nee Hemstock). They were married at Madison Country Club on June 28, 2002, after a 15 year courtship. Loving father to Bill Mull Jr. (Laurie) and David Mull; cherished grandfather to Danielle, Nicole, Christal, Rachel, Emily and Maggie; great grandfather to Christian Mull; loving brother to Richard "Rich" Mull; uncle to niece, Holly Teistma (Jack) and nephew, Ryan Mull (Lora); dear friend to former wife, June Mull and former brothers-in-law, Chris Metrick (Joyce), Dallas and Nick; former mother-in-law, Eleanor Metrick; the Boyce and Holubis families; special friend Alex Bevan and the Omicron Pi fraternity brothers and their wives, and special companion, Toby, toy poodle, rescue dog. Bill graduated from Purdy's Central High School, Croton Falls, New York in 1957; graduated from Lowell Tech, Lowell, MA, majoring in Business Management. He served in the Ohio National Guard. Bill was past President of the Chagrin River Salmon Club; past President of Omicron Pi Fraternity and owner of Zero-D Products, Inc. Willoughby, OH. Preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Mildred (Rudd) Mull; two brothers, Daniel and Chandler. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed the outdoors, boating, fishing, hunting, golfing and spending time with his wife Dianne, family and close friends at their Madison lakefront home. Bill took great pride in the maintenance of their home. Their home was always open to family and friends. Bill will always be remembered for his love of family, life, quick wit, kindness and love of music. He was a proud American. Bill was a devoted listener to Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly. For immediate family and special friends a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 15, from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 PM at their Madison lakefront home. In memory of Bill, contributions may be made to the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Road, Ashtabula, OH 44004 or the Omicron Pi, Inc. Fraternity Scholarship Fund, 101 Riverside St., Lowell, MA 01852 or the Omicron Pi Alumni Scholarship Foundation, UMass Lowell, Office of University Advancement, Wamalancit Business Center, 600 Suffolk St., Suite 160, Lowell, MA 01854. The family would like to thank the staff of the Cleveland Clinic; Drs. Grinblatt, Brinberg, Jevnekar and Azem and Erica with Caretenders for their devoted care extended to Bill. He loved his fraternity brothers and until his health issues surfaced, never missed a reunion. He and Dianne, hosted one of the best reunions, ever, in Madison.
