Bertha Bert Lee Elliott, age 79, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born February 10, 1939, in Freeport, Ohio, the daughter of Martha Matilda (Winters) and Harold Henry Jarvis. Bertha married Lester Elliott on June 28, 1958, in Painesville, Ohio. Bertha was employed as an Aid for Lake East Hospital and Medina Community Hospitals and had been a Respite Provider for Deepwood in Mentor as well. She loved music, reading, nature, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends. She is survived by daughters: Tammy (Michael) Trippel and Constance (Gary) Scott; son: Ted (Tammy) Elliott; 9 Grandchildren: Fawn (Eric), Amanda (Adam), Jason (Amanda), Nick (Shannon), Tim, Matthew, Chloe (Janez), Gary, Carley; 4 great grandchildren; sisters: Diane Woodford and Sharon (Tommy) Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband: Lester, her parents, sister: Joan Ahlman; brother James Jarvis. Friends will be received 5:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the funeral home. Final resting place will be Perry Cemetery.   3. What a special Aunt I was blessed with with Bert. She always had a positive outlook, caring way and never left you feeling anything less than special and loved. She definitely had a servant heart and cared about people. I will miss her dearly, but am grateful for all the picnics, memories, etc.. To Tammy, Connie, Ted and families my sincere condolences, prayers and love to each of you for your loss. Love you all so much!!!
