Barbara Ann Bock

Barbara Ann Bock, age 72, of Rock Creek, Ohio, passed away on December 03, 2025 from complications of Non-Hodgkins and Pancreatic cancer. She was a kind and beloved friend, sister, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with friends and family. The greatest joy she found in life was the moments she spent with her husband, children and grandchildren. She was self-employed as an owner of Hide-A-Way Lakes Campground of Ashtabula for over 20 years and later went on to work as an LPN nurse until she became ill.
Barbara was born February 21, 1953 to Mary (Rackar) and Albert F. Yontz in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the loving wife of Charles Bock from December 06, 1975 and was looking forward to celebrating 50 years of marriage. She is survived by her husband: Charles Bock of Rock Creek, Ohio. Her two daughters: Kathleen (Michael) King of Geneva, Ohio and Kelly (Adam) Vigon of McDonough, Georgia as well as her son Eric (Bethany) Bock of Perry, Georgia. Her 7 grandchildren: Charlie Vigon, Michael King, Gordon Bock, Owen Bock, Sarnie Vigon, Cailyn King and Logan King. Her two brothers Albert J. Yontz and Kenneth Yontz of Madison, Ohio and sister Cynthia Youhas of Painesville, Ohio. Also, her loving pet french bulldog, Ollie. She was preceded in death by her parents and her in-laws, Gordon and Maureen Bock and her brother-in-law Lee Bock.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Patrick Church in Thompson, Ohio on Tuesday, December 09, 2025 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio. The family will receive friends at Behm Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio 44507 from 2 to 7 p.m. on Monday, December 08, 2025.
