Annie Elizabeth (Lohr) Wilkerson

Annie Elizabeth (Lohr) Wilkerson resident of Painesville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 at home in Painesville. Annie was born in Rockwood Pennsylvania June 9, 1918. She was 94 years young. She loved life, her family, and friends. She was a wonderful wife to our father Clair E. Wilkerson. They loved each other very much, rarely were they ever apart from each other until our father's passing in October of 2000. Annie is survived by her children, Edwin R. Wilkerson, his wife, Juliette, of Painesville; Barbara M. Trisket, her husband, James, of Madison; Don H. Wilkerson and partner Gwen, of Painesville. She is also survived by brother, Charles Lohr, wife Shirley, sisters, Eleanor Latshaw, and Mary Bancroft. She leaves 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and 3 on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clair E. Wilkerson; daughter, Jean Clevenger and husband Phillip; grandchildren, Eric, Becky, Michael, 3 loving sisters, 4 loving brothers, daughter-in-law Debbie Wilkerson; many sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws. She was the best mom, sister, aunt, grandma and great-grandma. She was truly wonderful and special to all who knew her. Only heaven knows how much we will miss you, your family. They are all wonderful caregivers at Western Reserve, truly caring and compassionate to all that need them. Friends will be received from 2-6:00 pm. Sunday September 30, 2012 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Private family Graveside Services will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
