Angel Luis DelValle

angel delvalle

October 2, 1944 ~ October 23, 2025

Angel Luis DelValle, age 81, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away peacefully on 10/23 surrounded by loved ones. He was born on 10/2/1944 in Puerto Rico to Manuel DelValle and Ursula Ortiz. Angel will be remembered for his quiet toughness, his deep and unwavering love for his family, and the pride he carried for his Puerto Rican roots. His natural talent for fixing cars—without ever needing formal training—was a reflection of his determination, resourcefulness, and the way he approached life: with patience, skill, and heart.

Angel was proud of his years of hard work with Delta Railroad, where he helped construct the tracks that carried countless journeys. In his free time, he found joy in gardening and caring for his lawn. He especially loved spending time with his grandkids, going to the horse track, and watching/listening to the Cleveland Indians.

He is survived by his children, Hector (Whitney Gould) DelValle, Domingo (Cari) DelValle, Angela DelValle, Juan DelValle, and Carlos DelValle; siblings, Neftali, Elba, Pascual, Rosauro, Ana Luz, Olga, and Andres; grandchildren, Carson and Kinley DelValle, and many other grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and preceded in death by his dearest companion and soulmate, Esther “Jackie” Bilings and siblings, Domingo, Manuel, Hipolito, Luis, Maria De Los Angeles, Maria Isabel, and Guillermo.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Behm Family Funeral Home, located at 175 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio 44041. Viewing will take place 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM and Service at 12:00 PM.
