I am honored to have shared time with Don, to have made memories, shared laughter, and even baked pies together—moments I will cherish for the rest of my life. He was a good man in every sense of the word.
Today, I light a candle in Don’s honor—for his service to our country, for the 66 beautiful years he devoted to loving his wife and family, for raising such a wonderful family, and for being a true friend to me. I know I will never meet another man as kind, genuine, and beautiful in spirit as Don.
May he rest peacefully, surrounded by love, and may his family always feel the depth of how much he was admired and respected by all who knew him.
With much love and deepest respect,
Joline
