Elizabeth "Liz" Wayman

Elizabeth “Liz” Wayman, age 68 of Unionville passed away Monday, December 22, 2025 at UH Cleveland Medical Center. She was born September 15, 1957 in Painesville, Ohio the daughter of Paul and Josephine G. (Fidel) Sidley.

Elizabeth cherished family trips to Bar Harbor, ME and Acadia National Park. Her very 1st birthday was in Bar Harbor. She also was fond of any seafood, particularly lobster and learned at a very early age how to eat a lobster. No meat was left uneaten!

Other activities involved travel to Clearwater, FL and Myrtle Beach SC. She loved to assemble jigsaw puzzles and work crossword puzzles. She also loved her beagles, Gizmo, Ridge, Boomhowr, Otis and Tiger.

In 1987 she married Tom Wayman. They were married for 19 years. Liz is survived by her sister, Mary Sidley, cousins, Tammy (Dave) Gabor and Ann (Rick) Whaley, and of course, her beloved dog Tiger. Liz is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom; and several aunts and uncles.

Friends will be received 10 am to 12 Noon Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St. in Madison with a Funeral Service immediately following at 12 Noon. Burial will immediately follow at Alexander Harper Cemetery in Unionville.
