Richard Carl Walker, 85, of Leroy Township, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025. He was born on November 30th, 1940, in Cleveland, the fifth son of John and Helen Walker. He was brother to Howard, Charles, Don, Jack and Bob, all deceased.

Rich was a veteran of the United States Army, serving as an artillery surveyor and as part of a Persian missile team.

Rich was a driver/salesman for Pepsi-Cola for 35 years. He was also a LakeTran driver for 17 years.

Rich enjoyed all aspects of trains, woodworking, cabinetry building, photography, travel, and taking drives in his convertible. He loved Christmastime and for many years had wonderful Christmas displays inside and outside of his home. He also enjoyed spending time in his pool and hosting gatherings for friends and family.

Rich was the beloved husband of the late Dianna, to whom he was married for 56 years. He is survived by his son, Michael, and his caregiver Dominic.
Rich will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, and their families.

Calling hours are from 9-10:30 am. on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, OH 44057.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am. at Saint Cyprian Catholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Rd. Perry, OH 44081. Burial will follow at 1:30 pm. at All Souls Cemetery, 10366 Chardon Rd., Chardon, OH 44023.

  1. Rich loved to travel and I was fortunate enough to go on several vacations with him. He treated me to nice restaurants and let me do almost anything I wanted to. We spent many hours driving together just talking about whatever hit us. I will always be grateful for the time we had together. Rest in peace. 🙏
