December 30, 1947 ~ December 13, 2025

Celebrating the Life of a Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Friend, Mary Ann Chaffee passed away peacefully at home on 12/13/2025, surrounded by her loving family. Her gentle spirit, kindness, and joy touched all who knew her, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of many.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Dominic and Lena DeMarinis, as well as her in-laws, Peggy and Bill Chaffee. She also mourned the loss of her sister-in-law, Susan Corbin (Chaffee), her brother, Don DeMarinis, and her beloved niece, Sherrie Teer.

Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband Edward Chaffee, daughter Keri Bilicic (Chaffee), son-in-law Rodney Bilicic, grandsons Braden and Cameron Bilicic, step-grandchildren Joani and Maddox Bilicic, her sister, Joan Hawkins (DeMarinis), and several other close relatives.

Mary Ann enjoyed travel, camping, and cherished every moment spent with her grandsons, especially while watching the Browns games on Sundays. Her passion for real estate led her to a fulfilling 30-year career, with many of those years dedicated to serving as an Administrative Assistant at Howard Hanna.

In her earlier years, Mary Ann was an avid bowler and found great joy in playing Bunco with her friends on Thursday nights. Her warmth and sense of fun made every gathering memorable.

In accordance with Mary Ann’s wishes, there will be no public service. The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of The Western Reserve, PO Box 72101, Cleveland, Ohio 44192 in her memory.

Mary Ann’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. Behm Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.
