William Henry Fairbanks

William Henry Fairbanks, age 87 of Atwater, Ohio, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025. He was born September 13, 1938 in Bradner, Ohio to Herschel and Gertrude (Knippenberg) Fairbanks.

He is survived by his children, Richard Fairbanks, Victoria Fairbanks, Michael Fairbanks; grandchildren, Kyle Carpenter, Christopher Carpenter and Johnathan Carpenter and three brothers, Dale (Georgene) Fairbanks, James Fairbanks and Ralph (Lynda) Fairbanks. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Bobby.

William was a 12th Generation descendant and member of the Fairbanks family in America “originating in Dedham, Massachusetts in 1637”. He loved trains and was a retired electrician for Goodyear after 42 years of service.
