Leonard D. King

Leonard D. King, 68, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. He was born on December 21, 1956, to John and Ollie King in Detroit, Michigan.

Leonard worked at Conrail and Jacksonville shipyards. He loved to shoot pool and was known to win trophies doing it. He also enjoyed playing horseshoes, bowling, and watching football.

Leonard is survived by his spouse, Darlene King; sons, Michael (Nicole) King, Andrew (Heather) King; grandchildren, Faith Adkins, Bryson King, Isabella King, Emma King, and Landen Laszlo; great-granddaughter, Harper Adkins; brother, Randy King; and close family friend, Chelsea Laszlo.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his infant daughter, Melissa Ann King; and siblings, Johnny King, Eleanor Childress, Betty (Jimmy) Ward, and Brenda Bartone.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 11 AM at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057.
