Flora J. Wilson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Flora J. Wilson, beloved mother, friend, and dedicated member of her community. Born on July 7, 1938, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Flora led a life filled with compassion and devotion. She peacefully departed from this world on October 16, 2025, at the age of 87, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family.

Flora dedicated her career to the healthcare industry, serving as a housekeeping supervisor at Lake Hospitals, where she exemplified diligence and care in her work. Those who knew Flora admired her unwavering commitment to excellence and her genuine kindness towards others.

Flora is survived by her two cherished sons, Danny (Karen) Wilson and Dale Wilson, who carry forward the legacy of love and strength she instilled in them throughout their lives; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and gentle heart will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation at Behm Family Funeral Home in Madison, Ohio, on October 23, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at the same location at 12:00 PM. Flora will be remembered and celebrated as those she loved share stories of her remarkable life. Final resting place will be Plains Road Cemetery in Willoughby.

As we honor Flora’s memory, let us carry forward her legacy of compassion, dedication, and love. She will forever remain in our hearts.

Flora was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Wilson, and sons, Daryl Wilson and Damon Wilson; her brothers and sisters; and parents, Frank and Sadie Huey.
