March 10, 1936 ~ August 29, 2025

Born in: Rome, PA

Reese J. Clark (89) has moved on to his new adventure, and is reunited with his loving wife, Vivian, on what would have been their 66th wedding anniversary.

Reese, our Dad, started his new journey on August 29, moving on peacefully while at home with loved ones at his side. He will be dearly missed.

Reese was born in Rome, Pa to Harry and Louise Clark on March 10,1936, where they ran a small dairy farm. Reese often spoke of the farm and the hard work that was required to keep it running. Reese lived on the farm until his early 20’s when he joined the Air-force. His time in the military was short lived when it was discovered that he had a heart condition and was medically discharged.

I am not really sure of the details, but somehow he ended up in Ohio, meeting and marrying Vivian, the love of his life. Reese and Vivian had and raised four children: Scott (Jane) Clark, Virginia Clark (Wes deceased), John (Marcy) Clark, Dawn (Greg) Goss; 8 Grandchildren: Cody, Emily, Martha, Melissa, Amanda, Reese, Carmen and Parker; 4 Great Grandchildren: Seth, Rose Mary, Colson and Joe; 3 Great Great Grandchildren: Eden, Ava and Carson; sister, Ellen (Ted deceased) Platt.

Reese was a very hard worker and a Great provider for his family. He worked construction for the majority of his career, building various projects throughout the region.

Reese enjoyed the outdoors. He was a hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed spending time at the cabin that he built in the mountains of Pennsylvania. We still use this cabin today.

After retiring, Reese and Vivian would spend time traveling in their truck camper across the country, eventually taking the trip of their lives when they went to Alaska for three weeks.

Reese loved his family deeply and his favorite thing to do was to be anywhere they were, especially with Mom. We Love you Dad and you will be greatly missed….RIP…

My family would like to thank the hospice team for all their care and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Hospice of the Western Reserve. PO Box 72101, Cleveland, Ohio 44192.

Friends and family may come to The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison Ohio 44057, 4-7pm Thursday, September 4, 2025. Reese’s Funeral Service will be the next day, 11am, Friday, September 5, 2025, at the funeral home. Final resting place will be Fairview Cemetery. Guests are invited to Lifeline Church, 5236 Middle Ridge Rd in Madison after service for fellowship. Online obituary and guestbook at www.behmfuneral.com

  1. John and Scott so sorry to here of your loss and sending sympathy. I have 2 fond memories with yall and Reese. On that mountain in Coudersport Pa. On a near zero day many inches of snow. Reese up on the hill in his chair me in the valley 100 yards below him we could see each other. Frozen heavy gloves and here come a buck. Reese sees him knowing I am down there.I pull up to aim with heavy gloves on put my finger in the trigger and the gun goes off. Well missed buck and lost a shirt tail. It may still be up there from many years ago.Oh let’s not forget the near zero spring shower. Reese will be missed and memorized. Thank you for the time many of us spent with the Clark family in Coudersport Pa.
