Robert “Bob” Edward Holroyd, born in Cleveland, Ohio was a cherished resident of Madison, Ohio for most of his life. He passed away on March 28, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Vira and Robert Holroyd and his brother, Clifford Holroyd. He is survived by his devoted wife, Karla; his mother and father in law, Sandy and Joe Shieff; his daughters, Aselle Kuspangaliyeva, Ashley, and April; his brother, Mike Holroyd; and his best friends, Chuck Rowan, Bob Winters and Wally Pachowicz. He was also a proud uncle to his many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, and is survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
Bob dedicated 40 years of his career as a Kiln Operator at LTV Steel and Carmeuse, from 1978 to 2018. In his spare time, he was passionate about his vehicles and enjoyed attending car shows. His favorite car was his Ford Mustang with vertical doors. Bob found joy and fellowship at Lakeshore Assembly of God with Pastor Jim. His loyal dogs, Eddy and Brody were his beloved companions. Bob was a gentle soul, loved by everyone who had the privilege to know him. His kindness and warmth touched many lives.
The family extends a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Tri-point Hospital, especially his favorite nurse, Mariah Holwick, for their compassionate care.
