Lois Ann Houston, age 93 of Painesville passed away March 29, 2025 at UH Tripoint Medical Center. She was born March 28, 1932 in Painesville to Everett J. Behm and Mirabelle (Elliot) Behm.
Lois was a 3rd and 4th grade elementary school teacher in the Perry School District for 22 years before her retirement in 1993. She attended the First Church of Christ in Painesville and enjoyed playing the piano and crossword puzzles.
Lois leaves behind her daughters, Lorilyn Houston and Leta (Jim) Houston-Hickey; sister, Marilyn Rayment; grandchildren, Dr. Houston Hickey and Avery Hickey. She was preceded in death by husband, Thomas; sister, Irene Rhoton, brothers in law Bob Rhoton and Jack Rayment; and her parents.
Friends will be received 11 am on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison with a service immediately following at noon at the funeral home followed by burial at Perry Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made in Lois’s name to the First Church of Christ, 422 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, OH 44077.
